Agoraphobia
From the Greek “agora” = marketplace and “phobia” = fear, this term refers to a condition where a person fears crowds, open spaces, or public places are some description. In most cases people with agoraphobia do not fear the open spaces themselves but rather fear experiencing a panic attack in that situation. They avoid the situation in order to avoid an attack occurring.
